1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by T-dot Towing Service Inc. ("T-DOT Towing," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, mobile communications, and all towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle transport services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
T-DOT Towing is a Canadian towing company registered in the Province of Ontario, operating throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and surrounding regions.
2. Services Provided
T-DOT Towing provides the following services, subject to availability and operational conditions:
- Flatbed towing for standard, luxury, and exotic vehicles
- Heavy-duty commercial towing (RVs, buses, construction equipment)
- Accident recovery and collision towing
- Roadside assistance (battery boost, tire changes, fuel delivery)
- Lockout services
- Long-distance vehicle transport
- Underground and parking garage towing
We reserve the right to refuse service at our sole discretion if we determine that conditions are unsafe, the request is beyond our operational capability, or the customer is in violation of these terms.
3. Service Requests and Dispatch
Service requests can be made by calling (647) 223-7094 or through our website contact form. By requesting service, you confirm that:
- You are the vehicle owner or have authorization from the owner to request towing or roadside assistance.
- The information you provide (vehicle location, type, condition) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You understand that estimated arrival times are approximate and may be affected by traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.
Our average response time is 15 minutes within the GTA; however, this is not a guarantee and may vary depending on demand, distance, and road conditions.
4. Pricing and Payment
T-DOT Towing is committed to transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Service rates are provided prior to dispatch or upon arrival at the service location. By accepting service, you agree to pay the quoted rate.
- Rates may vary based on vehicle type, distance, time of day, and service complexity.
- Additional charges may apply for after-hours service, long-distance transport, or specialized equipment requirements.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
- We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards.
- Failure to pay for rendered services may result in a mechanic's lien being placed on the vehicle in accordance with the Repair and Storage Liens Act (Ontario).
5. Vehicle Custody and Liability
While your vehicle is in our custody during towing or transport:
- We exercise reasonable care to prevent damage during loading, transport, and unloading.
- T-DOT Towing carries commercial liability insurance as required by Ontario regulations.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical failures unrelated to towing, or damage caused by undisclosed vehicle conditions (e.g., modified suspension, hidden damage).
- Claims for damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence.
- Our liability is limited to the direct cost of repair for any damage proven to be caused by our negligence during service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition.
- Disclose any modifications, damage, or mechanical issues that may affect towing.
- Remove all valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before towing. T-DOT Towing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and legally parked or positioned for towing.
- Be present or have an authorized representative present at the pickup and delivery locations, unless otherwise arranged.
7. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a service request at any time before the tow truck arrives at the service location at no charge. If our driver has already arrived or has begun providing service, a dispatch fee may apply. Cancellation fees, if applicable, will be communicated to you before being charged.
8. Storage
If your vehicle requires storage at our facility:
- Storage fees begin accruing 24 hours after the vehicle is delivered to our storage facility.
- Daily storage rates will be communicated to you upon drop-off.
- Vehicles left in storage for more than 60 days may be deemed abandoned and disposed of in accordance with Ontario law.
- T-DOT Towing is not liable for theft, vandalism, or weather damage to stored vehicles beyond what is covered by our insurance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- T-DOT Towing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, government orders, or other force majeure events.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless T-dot Towing Service Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your provision of inaccurate information.
11. Website Use
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service requests. You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content on our website without our written consent.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the T-DOT Towing website, including logos, images, text, graphics, and design elements, is the property of T-dot Towing Service Inc. and is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use of any materials is strictly prohibited.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
14. Changes to Terms
T-DOT Towing reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
